What is responsive website?

If we accept the idea for a campaign of a commercial company that markets ice cream for the summer, then in newspapers, billboards, on television, the medium is different, but the ice cream and the messages must be the same.

And what about the site we built, will the surfer be able to enjoy the same browsing experience on a desktop computer, tablet, smartphone?The answer is: building and designing a website in the right responsive manner will allow the surfer to enjoy the browsing experience in everyone. That is, the structure of the website and the content should suit every device.
Does the intention in adapting the site (responsiveness), both for a computer with a large screen and for a smartphone, mean that we will take the site as it is on the big screen, “take some air out of it” and shrink it four times? Definately not!
